INTERNATIONAL INFORMATICS OLYMPIAD IN TEAMS, 2026
REGISTRATION FORMINTERNATIONAL INFORMATICS OLYMPIAD IN TEAMS, 2026 will be hosted by Romania, between May 24 – May 29, 2026. This year’s edition will be hosted by The National College of Computer Science in Piatra-Neamț, as a Leader School for the IIOT in Romania.
The INTERNATIONAL INFORMATICS OLYMPIAD IN TEAMS (IIOT) is an international competition in presence, which aims to encourage and improve students’ ability to work in a team, in order to test their competence in solving problems of informatics. In this competition, the teams compete against each other in solving seven problems in four hours. The official language of the competition is English and all the problems will be given and solved in English.
You are invited to send a team of four contestants and a coordinating teacher. The students are enrolled in a school for secondary education/high school and are not older than 20 on July 1st, 2026. A team can include no more than one awarded contestant of the National Individual Olympiad in Informatics in the previous year, and is coordinated by a teacher, who is the team leader.
The fee for accommodation and meals is 2000 euro per team. The IIOT 2026 Organizing Committee will cover the official expenses for your delegation, as well as excursions and transportation from/to Bacău, Iași or Suceava on arrivals/departures. Travel expenses from and to your country will be your responsibility.
Your reply regarding the confirmation of participation of your team at IIOT and the details about all the participants from your country should reach us by May 1st.
